into a river of hindered proportions,

I cry,
Out with the demons!

I spit
on the ground in front of my legs,
and whisper to the moths around my head,
you can leave me now,
please go away…

Seeped inside this simple sided feeling,
kneeling deep on knees and nearing steeples,
Let these drugs dilate my pupils!
let them open up shields,
turning on phasers and laser beams,
and the engines dream!
their metal gleaming in fluorescent rays,
I’ll travel for days!
and visit new lands!
in drunk states with jeweled kings!
in castles on monolithic mountains!
in the shade of gods smiling hands!
and then i’ll stop.
and rest.
and dry out like sand.
